Well, I missed my Sunday night blog. We had terrible storms and tornado warnings here in Cape Canaveral last night. I decided maybe it wasn't a good time to use the computer.
Now, today, the terrible happenings in Boston. I finally had to turn the TV off, I just couldn't take it any more. What a horrible thing to happen.
I have had some good response from 'The Winter Murderland' this week. That's always good to hear. I will probably have some reviews in a week or so.
'The Kilt Killer' is moving right along. I do see a problem though. I'll be out of town and out of a keyboard for two weeks. All I will have is my Ipad. Since I am visually impaired and since I am a good typist, thank you very much, I cannot do the peck typing, it would drive me nuts. So, I'm working on something constructive I can do on the 'The Kilt'.
I have a new system that is really helping me write. I try to do a scene a day, then my husband does this cool thing that puts it on my Ipad. The next day I have Emily, or whoever, read it back to me. Now that is cool. I can tell if there's a spelling error or just a bad sentence by the way, let's say Emily, reads it. I wish I had this when I was writing 'Murderland'.
I think I'm going to get a mini Ipad while I'm gone. We'll be in Las Vegas during that time and there's a great Apple store there. Well, it's just an Apple store, not as cool as the NY one, but my favorite restaurant in LV is a block away. So it's a great Apple store to me. I've had my Ipad for about a year. I love it. But, there's one problem. I have to hold it up to0 my eyes to see the screen. When I first got it, I couldn't understand my it kept changing sites. Then I figured it out. My nose was selecting sites to go to for me. Damn nose. Should have had a nose job years ago. Anyway I want a lighter one, and the mini is much lighter. We'll see if my powers of persuasion will work on my husband.
